Above, we were serenaded with traditional music by these players until the wee hours of the night. They were in Oban for
a music festival. We were astounded by the sweetness the accordians could produce, delicious melodies that were not at all campy.
Iain Anderson, on the fiddle, won the evening's competition for fiddle playing. The next day, the Burns brothers, John in the
orange, George out of view, would win first and third place in a pipe competiton, similar to a recorder. Alex Morrison and Ian Shepherd, round out the quartet in view.
